Delta has not formally adopted use of the precautionary principle. For Delta, adoption of the principle would apply primarily to potential harm related to use of fossil fuels and carbon emissions. While the principle is not formally used, we have an established enterprise risk management program that includes climate-related risks, and we are actively engaged with the airline industry regarding mitigation efforts.
